The primary function of the administration department is to support Council and to facilitate its work by assisting with the development of local government policies and the implementation of those policies.
In addition, the department is responsible for the dissemination of information. Accordingly, the department conveys decisions of Council to interested parties and citizens through correspondence, advertisements and notices. The department also ensures Council is aware of citizen suggestions, proposals and concerns.
