Religion

The religious denominations represented in Labrador West include: Anglican; Baptist; Jehovah's Witness; Pentecostal; Roman Catholic; Salvation Army and the United Church of Canada.

In 2007, Labrador City's Catholic Church, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, was designated as a basilica. It is the second church in the province, and twenty-first in the country, to be granted basilica status.
